    flower tutorial

     to make this flower with fabric, use two peices of fabric bonded together as it stops any fraying, in order to deminstrate this tutorial clearly i used felt for the flower in the pictures below as its easier to see.

     step 1, cut a long strip of felt, fold in half and glue the edges together, then on the folded edge, cut small snips in the fabric all the way along, like in the picture above.

     next, dap glue on the edge and start to coil around in a circle, glueing each section as you go

     then you are left with this, (picture above) to hide the messy underside, cut a circle and glue on top, if you want leaves put these on first then you have a back of the flower like picure below, this is now done, but!!

     because now you have a flat base you can if you want to add a brooch pin, or hair slide
