first i used the paintbrush to paint on normal glue, pva glue is fine. the glitter i bought came in a sprinkler tub, so i sprinkled the glitter on, and waited for it to dry, then i added another layer, this time i used spray glue to see if it made any difference but it worked the same. then once it was dry i painted on a layer of mod podge to make sure the glitter doesnt rub off when you hold the glass.
now i have festive looking wine glasses ready for the bubbly with our christmas dinner, they would be great for new years parties too.
Hi Aimee, I'm follower #235! I love your blog's backgrounds–so cute.
I was wondering how to do this without the glitter coming off on people's hands…(my whole house is full of glitter right now!) Thanks!
Very glittery and sparkly – perfect for Christmas! x
What a great idea. I LOVE anything with glitter on it.
