    motivational quote mirror

    Uncategorized

i wrote out the quote by audrey hepburn on the silhouette studio and cut it onto white vinyl

then i peeled the vinyl off around the words. usually you would need transfer tape for the next bit, but i dont have any so i used sellotape, and placed it over each line of letters, and rubbed over it then peeled it off, this made the words stick to the tape. then i placed it onto the mirror, and rubbed over it. then i peeled the tape back off. this made the words stick to the mirror.

i put this mirror is in the hallway by the front door so i can look at it on my way out and feel possitive.

Your mirror came out great! I really love it. I keep thinking I want to get a Silhouette but am not sure I'd use it enough to justify it. Your mirror is convincing! I'm your newest follower and I hope you can pop over to Cottage and Creek and follow back. Happy New Year!

I just framed this quote for a client that had frames and no pictures of her baby printed. I filled the frames with quotes until she gets pictures printed. I love this quote and you framed mirror is gorgeous.

Love it ~ great idea, but I think I would just order my vinyl words. Maybe more expensive that way, but easier for me. I have some vinyl words around here leftover from when I used to sell them and I think I'll give this a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

Our guest room is need of a mirror (my mother dropped that hint during her last visit), and I think this would be a great way to go about it! This project ALSO made my inspiration board: https://thethinkingcloset.wordpress.com/2013/01/06/the-silhouette-challenge-a-new-series/

And the quote is just loverly! Something you need to read every time you look in the mirror.
