cutting edge stencils giveaway / and my curtains

    Uncategorized

welcome to Twigg Studios first ever giveaway, Cutting Edge Stencils is giving one lucky reader a chance to win one of their amazing stencils, heres what i did with mine.

I did the bird patten on these curtains using a stencil, from Cutting Edge Stencils, i had planned to use the casablanca craft stencil for these curtains, but i received this bird stencil too, which they are giving away with every order, and i decided to use it.

stencilling is so easy with these stencils, and there is so many to choose from,

heres how i did my curtains

i taped the stencil on to the curtain,

then i put paint in to a roller tray, and i used a foam roller (which you can purchase along with your stencil) i put the roller in the paint and rolled off excess paint on the tray, then you need to roll the roller on to some kitchen towels as you dont want too much paint on your roller, trust me less is more.

then roll lightly over the stencil, not pressing to hard and repeat, the large all over stencils are designed in such a way that you can easily join up where you left off . and if that is not amazing enough they also supply you with a small stencil to make it easier to do the top and bottom of wall. and they have great videos and instructions on their site to walk you through it.

now they match my bird wallpaper
here is some of my favorite stencils that they have
    wallpaper-stencil-birch-forest
    ikat wallpaper stencil
    houndstooth stencil
    Clip-On Stencil Level
they also sell all the tools you will need like this clip on stencil level.
if you want to see just how easy it is to stencil, see these videos here they are a great help.
heres the casablanca stencil i got, im planning my next project now
    stenciled pillow
cutting edge stencils really are amazing, and they are offering on lucky reader a stencil of their choice (open to american residents only)
