i have used this recipe before here for my caramel apple pies made in muffin tins but my partners been asking for more so i though i would make them as pie pops this time
heres what you need
for the pie filling you need
two cooking apples
4 table spoons of brown
sugar
table spoon granulated sugar
tea spoon
cinnamon powder
1 table spoons of flour
2 table spoons
water
pastry (either ready made or home made) go here for recipe
to make filling
in a pan, add the
chopped apples (i cut mine into small cubes) and water i then let them cook and go soft for a few minutes
then add the brown sugar and stir on full heat for 5 minutes, then mix the flour,
granulated sugar, and cinnamon in bowl and add a bit at time while stirring,
turn down to a low heat and stir for 2 more minutes, then leave to simmer. i
then prepared the pasty, i pre-heated the oven at 180c
i rolled out the pastry i used a cookie cutter to cut circles, and lined a baking tray with parchment paper, then i put the pastry circles on and spooned the apple filling on and then slid the lolly pop stick in and placed the top on and pinched the edges together, then i pricked them with a fork and cooked them in the oven for 12 minutes, then i put these bows on the sticks.
