i had never heard of brigadeiros until i watched a cooking program on the food network channel, and i went straight out to buy the ingredients as they looks tasty but easy to make, because they only consist of three main ingredients.
to make them
pour the can of condensed milk in to a pan and add the table spoon of butter, and three tables spoons of cocoa powder, and then turn on to a medium heat.
you have to constantly stir the mixture for 10 – 15 minutes until its thickened. it makes your arm ache a bit put its worth it.
next remove from the heat and wait until its cool enough to handle then use your hands to roll it unto balls, then pick what you want to coat them in, i used chopped nuts, i filled a bowl with the nuts and rolled them in it and then but them into small cases. i covered some in icing sugar too, them i put them in this home made box so i could give them as a gift.
