feather covered bauble / woodland christmas

    Uncategorized

take a large bauble, and some feathers, i had some that my mum gathered from her chickens, and i had some guinea fowl feathers from the craft shop. brush some glue on to the bottom of the bauble and stick some feathers on so that they meet in the middle, then add another layer overlapping on top of it and work all the way to the top, adding more glue each time. then i hung it to dry.

i have started some woodland style christmas decorations for my lounge, i have a white tree that i will use in the dining room so i wanted a different theme in the lounge, i really like the bark and pinecones so i have bought a branch tree, usually i do all my decorations white or gold so it will make a nice chance to have to natural tones this year.

other natural style crafts i have made so far for the woodland theme are

    clay antler wreath

    faux birch bark

    feather filled baubles
