take the feather and place on the ink pad, with some kitchen roll press the feather on to it and completly cover the feather with ink, next place on the paper and with a clean piece of kitchen roll and place on top of the feather and rub it down evently stamping the feather onto the paper.

After my disaster with washing feather pillows, I have hundreds of them floating around in the front yard. I may have to put them to work stamping things.
