i made the bow frame and the gold frame from clay
to make the bow frame you will need
clay
rolling pin
knife
straight cutter tool or ruler
water paint
cup to draw around
first you need to make the frame part, i rolled out some clay and used a cup and sliced around it with a knife, then i cut out the middle i then rolled it slightly so make it oval
next i cut some strips, i have a fondant strip cutter but if you don’t have one you can use a rotary cutter or a ruler and knife. first you need to stick the bow ends on so join them in the middle at the top and ruffle it and stick it with water like the photo, then for the bow make it into a circle and press it in the middle then cut a small bit and wrap it over the middle and stick it over the middle of the tassel parts
i didn’t take a photo of the process of the gold frame, but basically i made the base the same way and the rolled out thin snake like bits of clay and stuck them on around the frame.
i spray painted the bow one white. and i sprayed the other one gold then i rubbed white paint over it.
