i was inspired by these flowers

to make this fabric flower
you will need
satin fabric (mine is from wholeport.com from $3.99)
candle
yellow ribbon
green ribbon
pink ribbon
kebab stick
glue gun
scissors
first light the candle, then cut some petals in two sizes large and small, and hold then above the flame so that it curls up, but be careful not to let it touch the flame. then cut some long thin petals and do the same them you can put the candle out.
next fold the yellow ribbon, and cut lots of little thin strips and tie it
with some string and then glue it to the stick
then cut the pink ribbon in to about 3 inch pieces and cut the ends into a rounded shape then add these around the yellow part. next take the smaller petal and fold them in half and glue them around, (like photo 8). then take the large petals and glue them on, and add a bit of glue half way up the petal to attach it to the one in front.
to finish glue the green ribbon at the top of the stick and wind it down around it until you get to the bottom and glue it and trim off the excess
