    chocolate filled egg shells

    Uncategorized

use a needle to make a small hole in the top of the egg, then make a larger one at the bottom of the egg and blow the insides of the egg out in to a bowl, then fill egg with water and blow out the water and continue this until the egg is completely clean on the inside and leave to dry.
melt some chocolate over a bowl of boiling water and pour it into a sandwich bag and cut the corner off, then pipe the chocolate into the egg, shake it to insure the chocolate settles to the bottom and pipe in some more until its full, tap it gently to bring any air bubbles to the top and then leave to harden.

So clever! I learned at a Science Museum that Salmonella only is on the outside of the eggshell, so if you clean the outside really well, this is totally safe. How fun it would be to crack open chocolate eggs! Thank you for sharing it at to What We Accomplished Wednesdays.
      Hugs,
      Deborah
