supplies needed
small polystyrene balls
green, yellow, pink crepe paper
scissors
glue stick
take the polystyrene ball and dig out the centre with some scissors to make a hole.
cut a long strip of green crepe paper and ruffle it and glue it into the hole.
now cut a long strip of yellow crepe paper and glue it on ruffling it around to hide the edge of the polystyrene.
cut the pink crepe paper in to petal shapes and glue them on over lapping each one, and mould it around the ball to create the shape. keep adding the petals until you are happy with the size. for one of the ranunculus i added some extra darker petals on the outer layer.
if you want them to have stems then glue them on with a glue gun, i used real stems that i dried out.

As an artist that paints only flowers, I think those are absolutely exquisite, you have done a wonderful job and I am most definitely going to have a go myself. I don't have a link party on my blog but share a weekly inspiration post with my readers where I source great ideas for recipes, crafts and interiors, I would love to link up to this post so my readers can see how to make these.
Lee 🙂
Gorgeous!
I used rans in my wedding bouquet – one of the most beautiful flowers ever. This is so clever.
