    diy easter egg

    Uncategorized

you will need a plastic Easter egg mould
white chocolate buttons and blue candy melts
    sugar paste
    pink colouring
    ribbon

fill a heat proof bowl with white chocolate, to get the mint green colour add about 8 blue candy melts, and melt the chocolate over a bowl of boiling water.
pour the chocolate into the mould and slowly rotate it moving the chocolate around the mould then pour the excess back out and lay flat onto a mat to harden (i put then two sides in the freezer for 5 minutes)
once its hard if needed add another layer of chocolate, then add some melted chocolate around the edges and press the two half’s together and put back in the freezer for a minute of two.
to make the roses i used a flower cutter, i added pink colouring to white sugar paste and rolled it out thinly, then used the petal cutter and made a few roses. i used melted chocolate to glue them onto the egg.

What a beautiful edible egg! It would be so pretty to set one at each place setting at Easter, or have a few interlaced throughout the table. It really is gorgeous – but your photos and projects always are! Blessings!
