recipe
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup ground almonds
1 and 1/2 cups self raising flour
2 tbsp ground ginger
3 pears
preheat the oven at 325f
in a mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar together, sift in the flour and ginger.
add the eggs and whisk, then add the ground almonds,
line a baking dish and pour in the cake mixture then add the pears, you can put them in whole or cut in half laying flat,
bake for 35 40 minutes.
