    loaded spiced caramel blondies

    Uncategorized

these blondies are so simple to make everything can be put in one bowl so its great to make it with children or if you are in a hurry, and they taste amazing.
i added white chocolate chunks, peanuts, fudge chunks and caramel to them to add texture.
for extra flavour i added some cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

     recipe
    3/4 cup melted butter
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    2 tbsp vanilla extract
    2 eggs
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
    3/4 tsp baking powder
    1/2 white chocolate chips
    1/4 cup fudge pieces
    1/4 cup peanuts
    3 tbsp caramel sauce
    1 and 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ginger
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
preheat the oven to 180c (350f)
    line a square cake tin
in a microwave safe bowl melt the butter, then pour into a mixing bowl and whisk in the sugar, the add the vanilla extract and eggs,
sift in the baking powder, flour and spices and stir until combined.
pour mixture into tin add add the chocolate chunks, peanuts, fudge and caramel and stir and spread evenly
    bake for 25/30 minutes

once cooled i made a butter cream to spread on the top.
     1/2 cup butter
    1/4 cup caramel
    1 cup powdered sugar
whisk the sugar and butter together then add the caramel, use a spatula and spread over cooled blondies.
put in fridge to firm up the frosting and slice
