if you have friends and family coming to spend the holidays with you then these are a quick and easy way to make a normal cup of hot cocoa or coffee a little special,
they take no time at all to put together.
all you need to do is melt some chocolate and pour it on to each spoon then sprinkle on some crushed candy cane or candied orange peel or marshmallows (anything you want)
and then leave them to harden,
and then leave them to harden,
then when you have your guests over give these with their cocoa and they will love it.

Aimee, what a great idea, I have bought these in the past, but what fun to make them, and with real spoons. Since all are packed away right now, I may have to go the silver plastic spoon way. Thank you. Have a great day.

I really like how these look on "real" spoons! What a fun way to drink hot cocoa! Will have to try this this Christmas.

I have thought about making these in the past, but never have. I love these! I also like Jeannie & Linda's idea of plastic silver spoons. Then you could give them with a pretty mug and some hot cocoa mix as a gift. Thank you for sharing it and your cranberry mojito, and grapefruit cake at What We Accomplished Wednesdays.

Ooh. I've always loved getting the store bought version with a mug as a gift. I think I will be picking up some silverware at the Goodwill to try this version. Thank you!
