i got a mini muffin tin at the weekend and found some tiny paper cases to fit in it,
(i think they are meant for truffles)
i love any thing thats minature i dont no why i think its the novalty factor of it.
i was so excited to make these bitesize cupcakes.
just to show you how small they are here is me holding it
recipe
60g (1/2 cup) spelt flour
60g (4tbsp) butter
60g (1/3 cup) golden caster sugar
1/2 tsp rose water
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp baking powder
preheat the oven to 180c 350f
cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add the egg slowly and mix in completly, then add rose water and sift in the flour with the baking powder.
add the milk to loosen the batter.
spoon the batter into each cake case.
bake for 8/10 minutes
to make cream cheese frosting
4 tbsp cream cheese
10 tbsp powdered sugar
few drops colouring
mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar and then add the colouring and then put into a piping bag and pipe on to each cake.
candied flowers
edible flowers like primroses, tulip petals, rose petals
egg white
caster sugar
ensure the flowers are clean by washing then , dry them gently then uing a small brush pain on the edd white then dip them in the sugar, leave them to harden.
