i have an abundance of apples thanks to my mum who went to an orchard at last weekend.
she gave me a big bag full so i decided to incorporate then in as many recipes as possible.
i also had some pumpkin puree left so i added 2 tbsp of that to the batter to just to make these even more fall like.
recipe
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp lemon juice
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp masala chai
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1egg
2 tbsp pumpkin puree 2 tbsp oil
for apples
1 large apple chopped
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp butter
to make pancakes add the lemon juice to the milk and let sit for 5 minutes then add the egg and oil and mix, in a mixing bowl add the flour, sugar, baking soda, powder, masala chai and salt then mix the wet and dry ingredients together.
heat a pan with a tsp of butter then add 1/4 cup of batter into the pan and cook for 2 minutes then flip and cook for a further minute.
to make caramel apples
peel and chop an apple and add it in a pan with the sugar and butter.
stir until butter has melted and a caramel sauce forms
pour over pancakes and enjoy.

These are absolutely stunning. Loving the apples on top of these too!
Fresh apples are the best! I really like the idea to include masala in the pancakes – I bet it gives them a wonderful,w arm flavor. Visiting from From Dream to Reality hop!
Holy cow, yes! I love apple season because it just goes so well with baking season 🙂 These pancakes are GORGEOUS!

What a lovely stack of pancakes, the caramel apples sound divine!
I first want to say that these look absolutely delicious. 🙂 I do have one question though. I noticed that the directions say to add flour, but the ingredients to not list flour. Does the recipe call for flour, and if so, what amount?
