easy homemade teabags christmas gift idea

    Uncategorized

if you know someone who loves drinking tea then this would make a great Christmas gift.
its is so easy to make, i got some empty heat seal teabags from ebay that you fill up your self, but you could use coffee filters or even muslin.

    i love making homemade gifts,
my mum and dad love earl grey so i got some loose earl grey tea leafs and added in to the empty teabags with some dried rose petals and cornflower petals to make them extra special.

i made some chamomile, some chai and earl grey tea bags
for the chamomile i just filled the tea bag up with dried chamomile flowers,
    to make the chai tea
with a pestal and mortar or processor crush up a cinnamon stick
then crush the seeds from about 10 cardamom pods and 8 cloves.
grate about half a nutmeg and crush a couple of pepper corns,
add some ground ginger (1 tsp) and then mix together with some black tea (5 tsp), i used the earl grey loose tea i had,
add some into each tea bag or cut circles of muslin then tie with sting.
