i had some ripe bananas that needed using up so i made these dougnuts.
i love banana bread and im always looking for new ways to eat it so i made these banana bread doughnuts with chocolate chips and smothered in caramel.
recipe
2 medium banana mashed
1/2 cup soft brown sugar
1/2 cup greek yogurt or butter milk
1/4 cup butter melted
2 cups plain flour
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips
preheat the oven to 350f
in a bowl mix the mashed banana and yogurt and melted butter then add the eggs and beat it togther, sift in the flour and baking powder and fold in. then mix in the chocolate chips
add the mixture into a piping bag and pipe into a greased dougnut pan
bake for 13 minutes,
let cool
for the glaze i had some left over dulce de leche from another recipe
